A school built around growth
Founded in 2018, Evergreen Leadership Academy is a small school in Vaughan where students build strong academic foundations and learn to take responsibility for themselves and their community.
Our Primary and Elementary groups give students room to grow at their own pace. Mentors combine focused lessons with movement, practical projects, and reflection. Students move from Primary to Elementary when their development and needs indicate they are ready.

Take Responsibility
Take initiative, keep commitments, and care for what you can control. Students practise responsibility through daily goals, shared jobs, and caring for their campus.
Keep Growing
Stay curious, learn from mistakes, and build the discipline to improve. Students discover their interests and develop the skills and confidence to pursue them.
Lift Others Up
Care about the people around you. Students build positive friendships, support their team, and contribute to a community where everyone can grow.
Lead by Example
Choose an attitude and actions that others can follow. Leadership grows through everyday decisions, from helping a classmate to doing a job well.

2010
Dreams Discovery Centre acquired
Began transforming a beloved party venue into a community education hub.
2011–2013
Programs launched
Introduced after-school, seasonal camps, weekend workshops, and a part-time daycare.
2014–2017
Facility and outdoor expansion
Secured city approval and built a 2,000+ sq ft outdoor playground; continued interior upgrades.
2018
Evergreen Leadership Academy opens
Launched a leader-led school model and began refining the approach with founding families.
2020–2022
Community resilience
Adapted operations through the pandemic; maintained family relationships and program continuity.
2023
Program continuity and refinement
Continued running camps and after-school programs while refining the school to meet student needs.
2024
Apogee affiliation
Became Canada’s first Apogee Affiliate; aligned curriculum and culture with Apogee's proven model of individualized, project-based learning.
2025
Full Apogee transition
Upgrading website, CRM, and admin systems; operating fully under the Apogee framework.
